    School Leadership and Inclusion: How to Successfully Support the Inclusion of Students with Disabilities to the General Education Classroom The Individuals with Disabilities Act mandates that all students with or without disabilities be included in the regular education classroom to the greatest extent appropriate. School leadership behaviors are imperative in establishing a culture of success for all students. Effective leadership, led by the school principal, is especially important if schools are to be successfully inclusive and meet the educational needs of students with disabilities. The purpose of this presentation is to provide information on how principals and school leaders can support inclusion practices through the development of trust and culture change, UDL strategies, co-teaching and the training of paraprofessionals.
